My name is Kirby Sanders. I presently live in Fayetteville AR. Most of my career of the last 40 years has been in as a newspaper reporter, editor and freelance writer with brief stints as press secretary for a candidate for United States House of Representatives and as an audio/visual & studio tech at a local television station. I am also an historical researcher, and have recently  completed 889 (eight hundred eighty-nine) pages of reports and a computer database of 175 attendant maps for National Park Service study of the 1858 – 1861 Butterfield Overland Mail stagecoach route across seven states.

You won’t find a lot of “flash and show” on this blog. I started it mainly as a handy place to archive and share articles that I have written recently and other items that are of my own personal interest. Enjoy the articles, etc – and bear with me. I will probably get better (maybe snazzier) as I become accustomed to this “blog thing.”
